Kathryn Hawkins

Kathryn began her dental nursing journey in 2012 and proudly qualified in 2014. Over the years, she has built a wealth of experience and also achieved a qualification in dental sedation, which enables her to play a crucial role in supporting patients who may feel anxious about their treatment. Her calm approach and reassuring presence make a real difference, helping people feel safe and cared for during their visits.

Kathryn is well-loved by both patients and colleagues for her approachable and friendly nature. She has a genuine gift for putting people at ease and enjoys nothing more than a good chat in the surgery. For her, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing patients leave not only with healthier smiles, but also with the confidence to show them off.

Away from work, Kathryn treasures time with her husband and daughter, and the family especially enjoys their trips to Portugal together. She jokes that she’s “trying (and failing)” to become a runner, but her good humour and positive outlook shine through in everything she does.
